Regional Workshop on Framework & Toolkit Development for IBF
The regional workshop on Framework & Toolkit Development for Impact Based Forecasting (IBF) contributes to the project by facilitating the co-development of a regional Framework and Toolkit for IBF of Temperature-Related Hazards – a crucial output that will form the foundation for national demonstration activities and regional harmonization in 2026.
Climate Services (CS) Working Group Workshop
Climate Services Working Group Inception Meeting marked the official launch of this initiative and established the CS WG’s governance structure, defined its regional workplan, and initiated targeted technical training. The meeting was held in a three-day event in conjunction with a Technical Training on Seasonal and Sub-seasonal Forecast Application (S2S).
CARE Component 1: 3rd Regional Workshop
The 3rd Regional Workshop for CARE Component 1 is the final regional workshop for the project. This final regional workshop is targeted to showcase the achievements of CARE Component 1 thus far, advocate for sustainability of capacities developed among partner government institutions, push for mechanisms for replication of good practices, and take forward lessons learnt from the project in onward undertakings either in CARE, in government projects, or in other projects.

South Asia Hydromet Forum (SAHF) hosted the Planning Workshop on Impact- Based Forecasting (IBF) and Climate Services in Bangkok from January 21–24, 2025. This event convened key stakeholders to advance regional efforts in managing extreme weather events and enhancing resilience to climate change across South Asia.
